Personal Care Services
There are times when you may need assistance with the daily mechanics of life. Tasks such as preparing meals, getting dressed, cleaning, shopping and bathing may become too difficult to be handled on your own.
The staff at HRHA works closely with you and your family to determine a level of service that combines desired medical care with the right amount of supervision so that you can continue to live in your own home while receiving the medical attention and care that you need.
For many, the challenges of caring for an elderly, chronically ill, or disabled family member are simply a part of daily life. Being a caregiver is a demanding job, and no one should have to do it on their own.
HRHA can help you before you become exhausted, isolated or overwhelmed. Our Respite Care Service provides support that will relieve stress, restore energy and promote balance in your life. You get the break you need and deserve while we take care of your loved one.
When additional care is needed, our personalized Private Duty Care is a simple way to ensure the well-being and comfort of your loved one who needs assistance. Our goal is to provide whatever is needed in order for your loved one to remain independent.
HRHA offers a wide range of supportive services and creates a completely customized personal care program. Your loved one will receive expert care and courteous service all within the comfort and familiarity of home.
Our private duty services include:

Hospital sitters provide caring companionship and complete dedication to you or your loved one’s needs. They help keep you safe, provide you with assistance, and act as an advocate to ensure your needs are met quickly. They may also keep records of doctor visits and document important information for you or your loved one.
This program is ideal for those families whose loved one might be transitioning to an assisted living, nursing home, retirement community, or rehab center. Even if your loved one is going to a senior housing facility for temporary reasons, having a companion during this time will support their recovery. The same caregiver can return with them once they are discharged to their place of residence. This will provide your loved one with the same loving care and trust in the comfort of their residence.
You never have to worry about being alone. With the help of a “live in” aide or a combination of two or three aides who rotate shifts, together we work with you to deliver 24-hour care in the comfort of your own home.
