We Treat One Another Like Members of Our Own Family.
Home Recovery—HomeAid (HRHA) was formed in 2008 as a result of the merger of two family owned organizations; HomeAid, Inc. and Home Recovery of Virginia, Inc. HomeAid Inc. (HA), est. in 1987, and Home Recovery of Virginia established in 1989.
While these agencies had traditional been “friendly” competitors, they both faced scale and structural challenges in order to grow their businesses. Merging the agencies into HRHA brought together the strength of HA’s Home Health with HR’s Personal Care Program. The combined team streamlined processes, eliminated redundancies and established clear plans, goals and objectives.
HRHA provides quality care to patients in the familiar surroundings of their own homes following hospitalization, illness, injury or disability. Our experienced professionals provide direct patient care and instruction to clients and family members. HRHA’s goal is to make a difference in the lives of our clients by treating one another like members of our own family. We do this by understanding our patients’ personal, emotional, spiritual, physical and psychosocial needs by allowing and encouraging participation in his or her care.
Our program is designed to provide expert care while teaching, and collaborating with our patients and their families to cope with problems arising from illness or disability. We have a deep respect for patients as unique living beings, and the obligation to care for them on their terms.
